| Sweet Auburn Soap |
Our soaps are
carefully made from
scratch in small batches
using the cold-process
method which best
preserves the beneficial
qualities of our
ingredients. Using high
quality vegetable oils,
we mix our batters by
hand and pour them into
wooden molds which are
wrapped in blankets for
thirty-six hours while the
process of
saponification unfolds.
After the soap sets, the
bars are cut and then
cured for at least four
weeks to further develop
mildness and character.

| Scented with a blended of Peppermint and Spearmint Essential Oils, it is a strong invigorating, minty soap. A favorite morning and summertime bar, it is refreshing, cooling and leaves your skin tingly clean. A word of caution: although rare, some skin types are hyper-sensitive to Peppermint Essential oil. If any irritation develops, discontinue use. |
The oil base for all of

Coconut Oil and Palm
Oil. Most of the soaps
also include Jojoba Oil
and Castor Oil (for
lather). We also use
Almond Oil, Avocado Oil
and occasionally Grape
Seed Oil. Essential Oils,
when affordable, and
Fragrance Oils. There
are some natural
colorings used such as
Cinnamon, Cocoa,
Tangerine Peel, and
Tumeric. Any
non-natural coloring we
occasionally use is FDA
approved.
